Chair's comments
Chair of the Defence Committee, Tobias Ellwood MP, said:
“The welfare of our Armed Forces is at the top of the Defence Committee’s agenda, and we will continue to explore the range of issues facing our service personnel and our veterans. At our evidence sessions with the Veterans Minister and the Office for Veteran Affairs we have the opportunity to raise questions directly relating to issues of most concern to our veterans. We’re keen to hear from veterans and their families and hope they will take the opportunity to complete our online survey ahead of the evidence session in June.
We want to help veterans’ voices be heard on issues that concern them, whether it’s mental or physical health, transition to civilian life and support in finding a job, or the complaints system. This is a chance to tell Parliament what you think.”
