Hill Climb Virtual Racing Club Races to Fundraise for Mission Motorsport

Having previously hosted a variety of online gaming events in the run-up to #YourRoR, The Hill Climb UK Virtual Racing Club are once again raising much-needed funds for Mission Motorsport.

The Hill Climb UK Virtual Racing Club was started last year to enable those who had a passion for racing to enjoy and engage in competitive motorsport whilst in Lockdown. The virtual racers hold events across a range of platforms including Playstation 4, Xbox, and PC.

Kicking off 2021 with a new fundraising event - 1K for £1, racers are completing laps of the Nurburgring whilst enjoying the opportunity to be part of a community. Split into two teams, X-Box vs Playstation, it’s a race to see which team reaches their targets of 500 laps first all whilst raising funds for the charity. For those participating there is also the chance of a prize or two!

CEO James Cameron said, “ We are amazed at the generosity of our supporters and beneficiaries who take it upon themselves to raise funds for us. We are incredibly grateful to the Hill Climb Virtual Racing Club for organising such a great and engaging event, especially in lockdown when people may be finding it hard.”

The Fundraiser is headed up by Peter Sherratt on the Playstation and Kevin Bicknell on the XBox. You do not need to be part of the group or a master virtual driver to join. It’s open to anybody who would like to take part. If you would like to participate, please contact the guys on Twitter:
