Motorsport Tickets Welcomes The Keep Fighting Foundation, Mission Motorsport and halo project

  • MotorSport Tickets selects Mission Motorsport as a supported charity

Motorsport Tickets announces today that it has broadened its charity outreach programme, with the arrival of three new exciting charities, from which customers can learn about and donate when making a purchase.

In November, Motorsport Tickets introduced an all-new charity partner page and unique donation widget which enables customers to add a donation amount as part of their wider ticket purchase. This was coupled with a renewed focus on supporting charities who are associated with and/or who work within the motorsport community.

Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity, Race Against Dementia, was the launch partner and today’s announcement sees the arrival of Michael Schumacher’s Keep Fighting Foundation, Mission Motorsport and halow project alongside them.

The Keep Fighting Foundation is a non-profit initiative that is celebrating the attitudes to “Keep Fighting” and “Never Give Up” which are directly inspired by Michael Schumacher. The Foundation, registered in Germany, operates globally and continues Michael’s charitable work in areas he always had focus including road safety and awareness, neuroscience, neurological research and innovation in respect to head protection.

Mission Motorsport, launched in 2012, was setup to help those affected by military operations, with the focus on rehabilitation through the inspirational and healing potential of sport. Bridging the gap between military service and careers as civilians, the charity has place more than 200 wounded, injured and sick service leaders and more than 2000 veterans into employment.

Halow project, which was founded by patron Damon Hill OBE, is all about providing opportunities and support for young adults with a learning disability. Developing creative opportunities and removing social barriers through a blend of activities. To date they have supported more than 170 people across Surrey, and in 2021 are broadening their scope across the south east.

Richard Gibson-Venner, Marketing Director said: “The intention when we launched the donation widget as part of our revitalised charity offering, was all about adding a seamless addition to our checkout process. Giving a really easy way for our customer base to support the work being done, and to aid the collection of much needed funds to ensure our chosen charities could continue the great work they do. We’ve had a great response from customers to Race Against Dementia, and we’re excited to now move to the next stage, expanding not only the choice for customers but to give exposure to a new set of diverse charities.”
