Car Mad Dad raises £750 for Mission Motorsport
Dale Gough, otherwise known as YouTuber ‘Car Mad Dad’, joined us at last month’s National Transition Event to not only provide the Armed Forces Community with track rides around Silverstone’s GP circuit but to present the charity with a cheque for £750.
A car enthusiast, Dale started Car Mad Dad, a YouTube channel, as a hobby back in 2018. With an army of over 5,000 subscribers and 82 published videos, Dale donates 100% of the profits generated from the videos to charitable causes across the UK, including Mission Motorsport.
Upon receiving the cheque, Head of Fundraising, Tilly Lambert-Lee Said, “We’re incredibly grateful to Dale for all of his support. Not only did he give up his time (and car) to take our Armed Forces Community around the track to enjoy passenger rides, but generously donated £750 which will go directly towards helping service leavers, veterans and spouses who have been affected by their time in the military.”
