The Mission Motorsport Invitational 24 – Our biggest yet!

Thanks to the unwavering support of Thakeham Homes and a dedicated group of volunteers, Mission Motorsport once again hosted an unforgettable day of recovery sport at Goodwood Motor Circuit on Friday 27th September. Undoubtedly one of the highlights in our sporting calender, we welcomed over 160 beneficiaries, veterans, and serving personnel and 25 charities including the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Blesma, Blind Veterans UK, and Fighting With Pride as well as small community organisations. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of those who gave up to support the event.


The RoR Launch Day

Thanks to the generous support of Nationwide Engineering, Sesanti and Team Forces, we officially launched the 2024 ‘Race of Remembrance’ (RoR) at Thruxton Circuit, Hampshire at the inaugural Race of Remembrance Launch Day, an unforgettable day of recovery sport. 150 members of the Armed Forces community came together and enjoyed a vibrant mix of activities including passenger laps, skidpan session autotests, 4x4 activity and even some karting. Alex Walks to Race of Remembrance

Having departed from Mission Motorsport Headquarters on Friday 18th October, Telegraph motoring journalist and supporter Alex Robbins is on his way to Race of Remembrance! What would usually be a six-hour drive will instead be a three-week-long walk. Alex is documenting his walk on his Instagram account here, as well as serialising his fundraising challenge in The Telegraph. On route, Alex caught up with beneficiary Steve and WRFM even finding time to record a short podcast – Listen Here

Thank you to Clarion Events

We are incredibly grateful to Clarion Events for their generous donation of £562 to support Mission, following the cancellation of Race Retro 2024 due to flooding. Your support means so much to us and will go a long way in helping us continue our work. We’re also excited to announce that Mission Motorsport will be the chosen charity partner for Race Retro 2025! Keep an eye out for future opportunities to volunteer and attend the event as we look forward to another exciting partnership.

Franks Charity Track Day Club

Thursday 7th November, Blyton Park

Fundraiser and friend of the Charity, Frank Hall of Franks Charity Track Day Club is hosting a charity track day at Blyton Park raising funds for Mission Motorsport. Mission Motorsport Beneficiaries are welcome to attend.

Supercar Saturday

Saturday 9th November, Anglesey Circuit

Thanks to the generosity of Blesma and DN Events, Supercar Saturday is back! Ahead of the 2024 Race of Remembrance and before the race engines roar, we have an impressive fleet of supercars, offering the Armed Forces Community heart-pounding passenger rides around Anglesey Circuit; one-of-a-kind track that offers both mountainous and coastal views. Open to all Service Leavers, Veterans, and their families, it's 1 hour and 30 minutes of high-speed track action that promises an unforgettable experience you'll cherish forever.


Race of Remembrance Karting

Sunday 10th November, Thruxton Kart Centre

Now in its fourth year, the Karting RoR at Thruxton; a unique 2-hour endurance karting race, held on Remembrance Sunday, is suspended for a poignant pitlane service. Open to anybody who wishes to participate in a Remembrance Service, we welcome not only those participating but Serving Personnel, Veterans, racers, teams, officials, volunteers, families and the wider community. We have a few remaining spaces for anybody who wishes to participate.

Banter, Brews & Cars – Passenger Rides

Tuesday 19th November, Three Sisters Circuit

Don’t miss November's Banter Brews and Cars event at Three Sisters Circuit—packed full of camaraderie, laughter and of course motoring fun! Thanks to the generosity of our army of drivers, we have a fantastic range of cars all ready and waiting to take you on adrenaline-fuelled passenger rides around Three Sisters Circuit - the north's most challenging race track stretching 1.5km. So, buckle up and be prepared to enjoy the ride of a lifetime!

What are #YourRoR Pans?

As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Race of Remembrance, we invite you to take on your own challenge. Choose to do 10 of anything and gather sponsorship and donations to raise essential funds for Mission Motorsport, The Forces' Motorsport Charity.

1 - Figure out what to do, where and when

2 - Add 10 into it - eg. 10 times, 10 hours, 10 minutes, £10, 10 more

3 - Fundraise - set your target, JustGiving page and share with your networks

4 - Share photographs and videos of what you are doing with us and on social media

5 - Have fun and join in by watching RoR on 8-11th November.

Don't forget, if you raise £50 before the 4th November, we'll add your name to one of the MM race cars competing in the race.


Biathlon of Foolishness

Saturday 9th November, Anglesey

Are you foolish enough to join us for a dip in the Irish Sea? A firm favourite in the Race of Remembrance 6 timetable and a bit of light-hearted entertainment we're inviting you to complete half a lap of the track before descending a steep path to the Irish Sea for a quick dip! It’s a fantastic way for you to support Mission Motorsport and raise vital funds. Don't forget, if you raise £50 before the 4th November, we'll add your name to one of the MM race cars competing in the race.

Support For Veterans & Their Families

Following the closure of the Veterans Gateway, if you are a service leaver, veteran or family member looking for support, the government has created a comprehensive directory of support agencies and organisations that can help. This includes guides to help with physical and mental health, finance, employment, housing, social care, an online directory and more.


Veterans ID Card Now Accepted as Voter ID

The Government has recently announced that the HM Armed Forces Veteran Card will be added to the list of photographic identifications accepted in polling stations as voter ID.
