Meyrick Cox Day: Another Wonderful Day at Goodwood

Held on the 7th June and thanks once again to the generous support of Thakeham, we were delighted to host over 90 Mission Motorsport beneficiaries at Goodwood as well as representatives from Op Courage and members from Blesma, The Women’s Royal Army Corps Association (WRAC Association), Fighting With Pride and Team Endeavour Racing. Everybody enjoyed exhilarating passenger rides in a fantastic array of vehicles and put their car control skills to the test out on the skidpan.

Veterans@Heritage Celebrate The Best Of British

Last week we headed back to Bicester Heritage for our bimonthly meet. Celebrating the best of British, attendees were not only treated to passenger rides in some exciting iconic British brands but were able to explore the site. It was great to see some new and old faces and we’d like to thank the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club for supporting the event. The next Veterans@Heritage event will be a family day on 16th August. Registration for this event will open later this month.

Banter, Brews & Cars - The Classic Edition

It was a hot and sunny day at Three Sisters Circuit and thanks to our army of volunteer drivers, over 28 people joined us for “The Classic Edition” - passenger rides in classic cars. With the usual crowd in attendance, we were delighted to be joined by members of BLESMA, HQ Armed Forces (Wigan) and the Wigan Veterans Breakfast Club who brought some new people to the event. Despite the heat, everybody had an amazing time and everybody left with huge grins on their face.

HMS Helitank Races at the Tunbridge Wells Soapbox Stars Kart Race

As one of four supported charities at the Tunbridge Wells Soapbox Stars Kart Race, we thought it only proper to enter our own kart! Designed by a group of veterans and military spouses and incorporating a plane, tank and boat, the team finished in a respectable 6th place overall. We'd like to say a huge thank you to the organisers for their support and our amazing army of volunteers, who without their help, the the day would not have been possible. Now to plan next year's entry!
