Race of Remembrance 24: A Decade of Remembrance & Uplifting Recovery Sport

We’re thrilled to announce the 2024 dates for Race of Remembrance as 8-10th November. The 10th anniversary of our flagship event, it is a weekend of reflection and community spirit combined with a fantastic weekend of motorsport. Partnering with BRSCC once again, RoR Anglesey entries open on the 3rd of June. Details about RoR Karting at Thruxton will be released later in the year

Veterans’ Karting Championship

Our hugely popular Veterans’ Karting Championship concluded this month when we headed to TeamSport Birmingham for the final. After a close battle, Mark Lloyd pipped other participants to the post to be crowned the Veteran Champion 2024. We want to thank TeamSport and all our competitors for another successful championship. We’d also like to say a huge well done and congratulations to Mark!

Details about next year’s competition will be released at the end of the year.


MM Beneficiary Dominic Pearson Wins MSUK 2024 StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship

Disabled motorsport enthusiasts attended the Streetcar Disabled Driver Scholarship event at Motorsport UK’s Headquarters at Bicester Motion on Saturday 11 May. Aiming to make the sport more accessible for disabled participants and attendees, four drivers were awarded a fully funded AutoSOLO season and access to an adapted car, including our very own Dominic Pearson. Huge congratulations!

Mad Runner Harry Completes First Race In The Canalslam Race Series

Mission Motorsport friend and fundraiser Harry Fraser completed the first of three ultra marathons at the weekend in a gargantuan effort to raise £3000 for Mission Motorsport. Running 145 miles from London to Birmingham, Harry ran through the night battling a lack of sleep, muddy running conditions and the British weather to completee the race in 42 hours and 46 minutes.

The Meyrick Cox Day - Friday 7th June

Thanks to the generous support of Thakeham, we’re heading back to Goodwood to remember the late Chair of the Board of Trustees Meyrick Cox and others from the Mission Motorsport family who sadly are no longer with us with a fantastic day of recovery sport. Open to those from the Armed Forces community, including veterans, their spouses and the military bereaved, you can experience adrenaline-fuelled passenger rides in a range of cars as you are whisked around the iconic Goodwood Circuit, or put your car control skills to the test in our skidpan sessions in an F-type Jaguar.

Veterans @ Heritage: Best of British - Wednesday 19th June

Join us at Bicester Heritage for another day of good company and cars. Open to the Armed Forces Community including serving personnel, veterans, military spouses and partners and the military bereaved, enjoy passenger rides in some of the most iconic British Cars.

Christopher Darwin Charity Track Day - Thursday 20th June

Thanks to the generosity of Christopher Darwin, we have another opportunity for beneficiaries to enjoy passenger rides at Castle Combe. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come,first-served basis. Should you wish to attend, please email the team at team@missionmotorsport.org no later than 15.06.2024. Those who are successful will be notified by the team.


Banter, Brews & Cars : The Classic Edition - Tuesday 25th June

Back for our monthly meet-up at Three Sisters Circuit, Wigan, we have a fantastic range of cars all ready and waiting to take you on adrenaline-fuelled passenger rides around Three Sisters Circuit - the north's most challenging race track stretching 1.5km. So, buckle up and be prepared to enjoy the ride of a lifetime!

Thanks to the generosity of Thakeham, we have another opportunity for beneficiaries to enjoy this year’s Festival of Speed, the world's greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture! Project PLEIADES

Earlier this month, beneficiaries gathered at the workshop to continue work on Project Pleiades - the eBay project which aims to debunk the myths around Cat N damaged cars (non-structural) by repairing the damaged bodywork and mechanical parts bringing them back to their former glory. We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to join us to complete the rebuild. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch by emailing volunteering@missionmotorsport.org

Alex To Walk to Race of Remembrance!

Alex Robbins, motoring journalist and supporter of Mission Motorsport, has been out and about continuing with his training as he prepares to walk from the Mission Motorsport HQ in Wantage, Oxfordshire to Anglesey Circuit Trac Mon in a bid to raise £5,000 and awareness for the charity You can find out more about his fundraising endeavours by following him on Instagram.

"Mad runner" Harry Fraser to compete in the 2024 Canalslam; 3 ultra distance canal races, to raise money for Mission Motorsport.

Next month, Harry Fraser will be competing in his second ultra marathon, The Warwickshire Ring Canal Race, part of the gruelling Canalslam race series - 3 ultra marathons. Harry is seeking MM beneficiaries, the very people he is raising funds for, to support and join him at the final stage of the race from Birdingbury Bridge Car Park, CV23 8HQ on Sunday 30th June.
