A huge and 'Swift' thank you...

In early 2018, Swift Group UK donated a top of the range motorhome to Mission Motorsport for use at the various events held for our beneficiaries throughout the year. Having highlighted a need for a comfortable and quiet space to conduct support sessions and staff meetings on the ground, Swift Group stepped forward and provided the solution.

Mission Motorsport’s account manager James Griffin said “The generosity of Swift with the long term loan such a fabulous asset is a real game changer for the way we as a charity conduct our business ‘in the field’. The vehicle enables the staff work and behind-the-scenes activities of Mission Motorsport to carry on wherever we go, come rain or shine. Our occupational health therapists have found it utterly invaluable when dealing with someone who simply needs some time out from busy or loud environments.”

‘The Swift’, as it is simply and affectionally known here at Mission Motorsport, supported countless beneficiaries and hours upon hours of on the ground staff work at national events such as Autosport International at the NEC, World Endurance Championship racing at Silverstone, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood invitational track days. It played a huge part at Race of Remembrance 2018 & 2019 in the support of the pitlane administration, but most impressively in the summer of 2019 ‘The Swift’, with the help of a steely eyed helmsman, set the Nürburgring lap record for a motorhome!

Whilst long termer ‘YX18 MKC’ has recently returned home to Swift HQ ready for adventures with a new family, Mission Motorsport is eternally grateful for the continued support of Swift Group and the knowledge that wherever we go and whatever we do in the future, our field operations will be supported by another Swift motorhome.
