Mission Motorsport charity day at Blyton Park hosted by FCTDC set to be a record breaker!

  • Frank’s Charity Track Day Club hosts day at Blyton Park to raise monies for Mission Motorsport

  • Opportunity to attend, enjoy passenger rides & lunch for Mission Motorsport beneficiaires

Great friend and supporter of the charity Frank Hall, who operates Frank’s Charity Track Day Club (FCTDC) will be hosting a track day at Blyton Park on the 28th of June raising funds for Mission Motorsport.

FCTDC was founded when a group of car enthusiasts from the Practical Performance Car Magazine forum completed a £999 challenge and decided to stage a get-together. Booking a track day at Blyton Park back in September 2013, Frank invited other enthusiasts to join them.

With spaces for 30 cars on track, each car had to pay £100 to get on track. The invite proved popular and a total of 33 cars attended. After deducting costs, Frank was left with a remaining balance of £290 which equated to £8.79 each. Instead of reimbursing back the monies owed, Frank asked participants whether they would be happy for the money to be donated to charity to which he received a resounding response of “yes.”

Reflecting on the successes of the day, Frank began to organise more track days and the FCTDC was formed. Organising the events himself, Frank does not keep any of the funds and since 2013 has donated over £80,000 to a variety of charities and good causes. The last event organised raised a staggering £4,700 and is the club’s highest-earning day to date.

The next FTCTD day, which is the 31st event organised by Frank, is raising funds for Mission Motorsport and is planned for Blyton Park on Tuesday 28th June. Looking likely that it will beat the record for most funds raised from a day, Frank has pledged to take part in the Biathlon of Foolishness at Race of Remembrance later if the £4,700 total is beaten.

Extending his generosity further, Frank has extended an offer to beneficiaries to attend, enjoy passenger rides and join the club for lunch. With an eclectic mix of cars to ride in, you can be confident of a good time.

Places at the day are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will need to be quick. Click here to find out more details and to register.
