Former Army Chef Ed Little and friend Lee Crawley to drive 1,236 miles from Monte Carlo to Goodwood in 24hrs in a Morgan Super 3 raising funds for Mission Motorsport.
Veteran Ed Little, a former chef in the RLC and good friend Lee Crawley have set themselves the unusual challenge of driving from Monte Carlo to Goodwood Motor circuit in a Morgan Super 3 in just 24hrs with the aim of raising vital funds for Mission Motorsport.
Having been told by somebody that the 1,246 mile journey (door to door) couldn’t be done, the good friends decided to not only attempt it, but raise money for The Forces’ Motorsport Charity, a cause close to Edd’s heart.
Setting off at Midday on the 2oth of June from Casino Square in the Morgan Super 3 - livered with a striking design including the charity’s logo, the duo will complete the challenge in just 24hrs.
Taking 2hr stints behind the wheel the pair aim to arrive at midday and will be greeted by the charity (who are hosting the Meyrick Cox Day) and a guard of honour of up to 30 Morgans.
Jill Baines, Head of Grants, Donations and Sponsorship said, “Eddie and Lee’s passion and determination to not only complete the challenge but raise funds for Mission Motorsport is commendable and we are grateful to be chosen as their nominated charity. We’re all excited to hear and find out how they get on!
The pair will be documenting their journey for all to see, simply follow their Instagram account.
