Knockhill Racing Circuit to Host 2 Armed Forces Appreciation Events In April

Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotland’s only internationally graded racing circuit by the MSA, FIA and (S)ACU is hosting two Armed Forces appreciation weekends in April allowing those from the Armed Forces Community to enjoy the first rounds of the Scottish Car Championship on the 5th & 6th and the Scottish Championship Bike Racing on the 12th & 13th .

Signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant and ERS Gold Award holder, Knockhill Racing Circuit is inviting of members of the Armed Forces - both Serving personnel, veterans and their families along with, NHS & Blue Light card holders to attend for free.

Scottish Championship Car Racing: 5-6th April

Scottish championship car racing kicks off with an action-packed Twin-Track event using both anti-clockwise and clockwise configurations. This unique format is a thrilling weekend of motorsport with racing in both directions adding to the challenge and action for drivers and spectators alike.  

The event features the best of KMSC and SMRC racing championships with a packed grid of Scottish Legends, Mod-Sports, Super Lap Scotland Championships, with intense racing across both days. Saturday will showcase the Scottish Mini and Scottish C1 Championships, while Sunday brings the Scottish Fiesta ST Cup and Scottish Classic Sports & Saloons Championships to the track. Visiting on both days are the powerful and superfast DDMC Northern Saloons and Sports Cars adding colour and drama for the fans. 

Saturday will feature the circuit’s Mini Mania Car Show, highlighting the best Mini's in town with special awards up for grabs and an exciting track parade for participating show cars. 

In addition, to all the motoring action, there will be a wide range of Armed Forces charities present to promote their valued support and services.

Scottish Championship Bike Racing: 12-13th April

It's Round One of the 2025 bike racing season, and competitors are eager to kick off their pursuit of the KMSC and Scottish Championship titles. With 28 races lined up over the weekend, the programme promises thrilling battles as riders push for podium positions and championship points.

Prepare for incredible 170mph bike racing as top contenders take to the track up to four times each across the weekend. Over 140 competitors will compete across seven championships, including the high-powered Superbike and Clubman 1000cc classes, Sidecars, and the agile 300s where riders as young as 12 show their skill.

With a fast-paced format and minimal downtime, each day will feature up to eight hours of non-stop, adrenaline-fueled racing action!

In addition, to all the motoring action, there will be a wide range of Armed Forces charities present to promote their valued support and services.
