Mission Motorsport host another successful event at Croft Circuit for the Forces Family Day

Thanks to the generosity of SSGC, long-term supporter and friend of the charity, Auto Ra Ra, Emcor and Equans, Mission Motorsport once again had the privilege of heading up to Croft Circuit in northern England for the Forces Track Day—a fun-filled event for the entire Armed Forces Community to enjoy!

Over 174 adults and 99 children attended the event and travelled from as far as Glasgow, Cardiff and even London and enjoyed thrilling, heart-racing passenger rides around the 2.1 miles of track in a variety of cars ranging from Mazda MX-5s to Porsches to McLarens and everything in between!

For the younger petrol heads not old enough to go out on track, children enjoyed getting behind the wheel of Lightening McQueen, the split control with parents controlling the pedals. New for this year, children were also able to get behind the wheel of the charity’s Subaru BRZ and experience the thrill of driving albeit at low speeds.

In addition to the track activity, we were thrilled to be joined by other service charities, and local veteran-owned businesses and included:

WeAreWithYou – veterans hub Veterans Breakfast Clubs

Help4Homless Veterans Forces Employment Charity

Veterans Launchpad North Yorkshire and East Riding Freemasons

Walking With The Wounded Building Heroes

Army Hives

Everybody in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the day, all leaving with big smiles on their faces. Chief Operating Officer Andy Brown said, “A great day was had by all. It was great to see so many families attend and enjoy themselves. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported the event especially our fantastic team of volunteers and drivers. Discussions are already underway for a date in 2025…watch this space!”
